What is a healthy living ?
A healthy living is a mixture between physical and mental health. It is a way of living that improves your health and boosts your wellbeing in order to live a healthier, longer and happier life.
How can I maintain good physical health ?
Balanced diet : a balanced diet is not about strict diets, staying thin, or depriving yourself from the food you love; it’s about improving mood and boosting your energy through healthy eating.
Exercice : Physical activity is a great way to keep you physically healthy. Even a daily 20-minute-walk or a simple 15-minute-yoga routine is enough to improve your shape whether you want to maintain or lose weight. You don’t need to go to the gym everyday or submit a strict workout routine to stay physically healthy. What you need instead is consistency with your workout routine even if it is a 5min-walk a day.
How can I boost my wellbeing? have you ever heard about the BACES theory!, this theory resumes everything about mental health:
B : Body : As I mentioned to you below, taking care of your body has a strong link not only with our physical health but it also affects our mental health (positively or negatively).
A : Achieve : You have to strengthen your brain and give it a boost leading it to a healthy improvement by putting realistic goals at : work, studies, home chores… It’s unbelievable how much you will feel confident and energetic by achieving what you planned.
C : Connect : Networking and socialising with people is very important for your well being, but be careful, choose the right people in your circle, those who motivate you, push you to be the best version of you, those whom you need the most in your life.
E : Enjoy : No matter how busy your life is, always find time to do your most enjoyable activities, do something you love ; read books, listen to music, go on a trip, plan for a voyage, learn a new skill… So that you can conquer the boring side of life.
S : Step back : This one is very important, Find 15 minutes at the end of the day to ask yourself whether you are satisfied with your life, with who you are, whether what you say is compatible with what you do, take a step back and look at your life from a far point, through the eye of someone else, would you like you if you met you ?
The tips that I gave you are simple but they can’t be effective without practising them. It’s all about perseverance, you won’t see the change by doing it once or twice then quitting, but by making those tips a habit, a daily routine, A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE…
