JAT is a non-profit cultural association founded in Hammamet bringing together more than 40 young people , aged 11 to 24, both actors, singers, musicians and dancers who organize daily cultural events to help citizens, young people from disadvantaged neighborhoods, the elderly as well as children. Since its creation in 2014 the association does not cease to develop and animate the city of Hammamet. In fact, the association has a young and dynamic team, concerned with the development of a good image of the association and very ambitious at the cultural and artistic level. Through cultural projects, events, and workshops, the association offers young artists the opportunity and the tools to exchange, improve and shine.
The NGO JAT Hammamet organizes from the 24 to the 30 of May 2021 a campus for young volunteers to create a camping site “preserving nature and the surroundings of the place” at Hammam Bent Jdidi.
This campus is a real multidisciplinary workshop that reunites students and young professionals in different fields from all over the country.Campus participants will have to evolve a global reflection on the site of lellla khdija to exchange, cross ideas, experiences and elaborate a development plan This campus is a part of the NGO’s new project “Do Art” financed by The french institute of Tunisia which promotes the environmental heritage in the town of hammem bent jdidi in order to develop an alternative sustainable tourism.
